Abdulaziz Kamilov meets with the Ambassador of France

On September 13, 2019, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic, Isabelle Servoz-Gallucci.
Accepting copies of credentials, the Minister congratulated the Ambassador on her appointment and wished success.
According to Uzbekistan MFA, at the meeting, special attention was paid to the issues of implementation of the agreements reached during the negotiations between President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President Emmanuel Macron during his official visit to France in 2018, which opened a qualitatively new page in Uzbekistan – France multifaceted dialogue.
The parties confirmed their interest in further development of bilateral cooperation in such areas as politics, economics, tourism, culture and education.
Prospects for increasing mutual trade and implementation of joint investment projects were discussed at the meeting.
In the context of exchanging views, the parties paid special attention to regional security issues.
