On September 11, the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis hosted a meeting with a delegation of All-China Assembly of People's Representatives.

At the meeting in the Committee on Agricultural and Water Management Issues of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, views were exchanged on strengthening the economy through the introduction of advanced Chinese experience in Uzbekistan’s agriculture.

The guests were provided with information about the activities of the lower house of parliament, legislative innovations. Information was provided about large-scale political and legal socio-economic reforms, state and regional programs carried out in accordance with the Action Strategy on five priority areas of development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021, and the effectiveness of their implementation.

The participants exchanged views on further improvement of inter-parliamentary relations, achievements in the legislative activity in the agrarian sector and best practices introduced in practice in agriculture.

On the same day, members of the PRC delegation met with representatives of the ministries of agriculture and innovative development of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
