Uzbekistan, Turkey strengthen cooperation in tourism industry

Delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, consisting of representatives of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development, the Aeronautics Federation, the Hotels Association, the Guides Association and the Gastronomic Tourism Association, visits Turkey. The purpose of the visit is to strengthen cooperation, exchange experience and reach agreements between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Republic of Turkey in tourism industry.
On September 9, in the Turkish city of Nevsehir (Cappadocia), Uzbekistan delegation held a meeting at Cappadocia Tourism Area Infrastructure Services Association.
At the meeting, information was provided on the tourism potential and investment opportunities of Uzbekistan. Issues of cooperation in development of new types of tourism in Uzbekistan, including extreme and youth tourism were discussed.
The delegation visited the organization Atmosphere Balloons to become acquainted with the activities of foreign companies. The organization is a member of Cappadocia Tourism Area Infrastructure Services Association.
Following the meeting, it was decided to develop cooperation between Uzbekistan Aeronautics Federation, Nevsehir Aeronautics Federation and Atmosphere Balloons in order to develop tourism in Uzbekistan.
