On August 28, Tashkent hosted an international conference to discuss the draft Concept for integrated socio-economic development of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Economy and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs and the Future of the United Arab Emirates, was attended by representatives of the United Nations, UN Development Programme, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, experts from international organizations, specialists from interested ministries and agencies, scientists, researchers of national research institutions.
Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry Jasur Aripov informed the participants about the measures being taken, indicated in the roadmap.
At the conference, experts from the Cabinet of the Prime Minister of the UAE expressed their views on the draft Concept for integrated socio-economic development of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030, shared their experiences on the country’s socio-economic development. The reports of representatives and experts of international organizations, financial and research institutions were heard.
Following the discussions, recommendations were proposed for improving and implementing this concept.
