The acting Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for tourism development Abdulaziz Akkulov and British public figure Ahmed Salim,  who was included in the rating of the most influential Muslims of the world “The Muslim 500” in 2014-2018, agreed to promote Uzbekistan as the cradle of Islamic culture at the international level.

The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for tourism development, in order to promote the tourism potential of Uzbekistan, systematically strengthens ties with international organizations. So, on the initiative of the State Tourism Committee, a meeting of the Acting Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for tourism development Abdulaziz Akkulov and British public figure Ahmed Salim was held

Ahmed Salim is a producer and managing Director of the 1001 Inventions - Muslim organization. He succeeded in implementing a number of successful projects dedicated to the promotion of Islamic heritage in the world culture and social sphere, as well as attracted millions of people to these projects. The company “1001 Inventions” participated in the organization of exhibitions and various events in the UN, UNESCO and world famous museums.

The short film "1001 inventions and the library of secrets", starring Hollywood actor Ben Kingsley, was watched by more than 100 million people. The film won dozens of gold awards at international film festivals.

During the meeting, Abdulaziz Akkulov noted that the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for tourism development is ready to cooperate with foreign guests in the field of tourism development.

In turn, Ahmed Salim expressed gratitude to Abdulaziz Akkulov for the reception, stressed that the purpose of his visit is to establish partnerships, study the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan and promote the tourism potential of the Republic abroad.
