On May 22, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with a member of the 19th CPC Central Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi, in Bishkek.

Heads of foreign affairs agencies focused on implementation of the agreements reached on April 25, 2019 during the bilateral meeting of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President Xi Jinping within the framework of the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, in Beijing.

The ministers discussed preparations for the upcoming SCO Summit in Bishkek, emphasizing their interest in its successful outcome.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, views were exchanged on current international and regional issues.
