Tashkent hosted Spring Festival

State Academic Grand Theatre of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi hosted the V International Festival of Opera and Ballet “Tashkent Spring”.
The festival, held by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with a number of organizations pleased capital residents and foreign guests. It was attended by artists, ballet groups and opera performers from Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, China.
Concerts, premieres, conferences, master-classes, meetings with artists were held within the framework of the festival.
Creative project ended with Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Lake”. This ballet was performed by creative teams of many countries and won special attention of audience. This work is about struggle of love and hypocrisy, loyalty and betrayal always touches ballet lovers’ hearts.
