Uzbekistan and Germany education institutions sign Cooperation Agreement on training professional tourism personnel
During the visit of the delegation of the State Committee for Tourism Development to Germany, Dresden University of Applied Sciences and Silk Road International Tourism University signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at developing multilateral cooperation, sharing practical experience, developing joint projects and research.
At the meeting with students of this university, the Head of Department of the State Committee for Tourism Development U.Saidov informed about changes in the tourism sector of Uzbekistan, simplification of the visa regime and abolition of visas for citizens of EU countries, investment opportunities, rich cultural and historical heritage of Uzbekistan, as well as developing youth tourism.
As reported by the Press Service of the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the German side expressed its readiness to cooperate with the Silk Road International Tourism University, particularly in exchange of students and experience, participation in joint research, as well as in preparing a marketing strategy to promote the tourism brand of Uzbekistan in Germany.
