On the very first day of the official visit to the country, the governor of Karabük province Fuat Gürel received the delegation. Large-scale reforms of the higher education system, issues of cultural and scientific cooperation between the two regions were discussed at the meeting.

 

During the official visit to Karabük, an inter-university Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Rector of Kokand State Pedagogical Institute A.Eminov and the Rector of Karabük University Refik Polat. Issues of student and teaching exchange, establishing cooperation in scientific development were discussed within the framework of the Memorandum.

 

As reported by the Press Service of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of Uzbekistan, delegation of Kokand State Pedagogical Institute met with students of Uzbekistan studying at Karabük University. At the meeting, information was given on large-scale reforms carried out in Uzbekistan. In turn, students of the university from Uzbekistan showed awareness of the ongoing socio-economic policy of the country and expressed their willingness to serve and use the knowledge and experience gained for the benefit of Uzbekistan.
