Introduction of Global G.A.P. standards is considered

Uzstandard Agency held a scientific practical workshop on benefits of implementing Global G.A.P. standards.
Participants exchanged views on expanding international cooperation for the export of agricultural products to Europe, on importance of the GLOBAL G.A.P. certificate in this process, growing fruits and vegetables on the basis of this international standard, ensuring their safety, training specialized personnel.
Specialists noted that limited liability companies Jizzakh Agritrade and Jizzakh Nihol Invest of Jizzakh region, Agro Eko Fruit, Murodbek Plus of Andijan region carried out the practice in accordance with the requirements for implementing the GLOBAL G.A.P. standard and product certification.
Following the event, it was noted that it is necessary to organize territorial training workshops on ensuring the quality and safety of agricultural products, introducing an international standard, training specialists in accordance with this and establishing cooperation with international organizations.
