The second stage of Big Idea Challenge competition was held at the International Business Center in order to support students’ innovative ideas and develop their entrepreneurial skills.
The project, organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the British Council, the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Uzbekistan, London Metropolitan University, facilitates the participation of students of higher education institutions of Uzbekistan in competitions of innovations and initiatives.
The competition provides youth for creating stable innovative business, the opportunity to exchange experience with qualified specialists. Students can participate in the competition by presenting innovative projects that are useful for the population of the territory at their place of residence. Issues related to the territories of the country should be resolved through ideas that are socially beneficial for the environment and society.
As of February 1, 2019, 230 projects were received from Uzbekistan for participation in the competition. Specialists from London Metropolitan University selected 23 of them for the second stage of the competition. The authors, developing their skills, will prepare for the subsequent stages of the competition.
