The 26th International Book Fair took place in Minsk, Belarus. More than 150 publishing houses from 36 countries of the world attended the event with their products.
Uzbekistan delegation, representatives of Sharq, Mashkhur-Press publishing houses and Sharq Ziyokori book shopping complex took part in this fair for the first time. Within the framework of this large-scale event, the delegation of Uzbekistan visited the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus.
A corner of books of Uzbek writers, published by Sharq and Mashkhur-Press publishing houses, was organized at Friendship bookstore in the center of Minsk. Cooperation agreements were reached between Sharq Ziyokori book shopping complex and Belkniga, Friendship bookstores. The parties signed a cooperation agreement with Belarusian Encyclopedia publishing house.
