The Fire Safety Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the Country Director of GIZ Office in Uzbekistan Jörg Pudelka.
At the meeting, it was noted that in recent years, friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Germany have risen to a new level. Views were exchanged on establishment of cooperation with related universities and research institutes of Germany. Attention was also paid to projects implemented in Uzbekistan by GIZ.
On the basis of this document, priority attention was paid to advanced training of teachers of the institute, introduction of advanced educational technologies in the educational process, further expansion of international cooperation.
Jörg Pudelka provided information on Germany’s experience in fire safety. He noted that activities carried out in Uzbekistan on improvement of fire safety service has earned international recognition.
As reported by the Press Service of Fire Safety Institute, following the meeting, an agreement was reached on closer cooperation with educational and research institutions of the German fire safety system.
