A press tour to “Tashkent City”

A tour to “Tashkent City” construction site was organized for journalists.
Most of the workers here are skilled builders, as well as specialists with higher education, engineers. Almost everyone has experience in construction of buildings that meet the requirements of the time.
New engineering communications will be laid in “Tashkent City”. Earthquake-resistant building materials are used in construction of multi-storey buildings.
A press conference was held after the press tour. It was attended by the Khokim of Tashkent city J.Artykhojayev, representatives of agencies and organizations participating in construction, and investors.
“Tashkent City” project plan was developed with participation of ARUP (United Kingdom), Tabanlioglu (Turkey), DPArchitects (Singapore) and other leading international companies.
More than 730 investors have expressed their desire to participate in the project thanks to attention in attracting foreign investment. 12 companies received the right to invest in the project. State funds are not invested in the project. It is planned that the project will be completed within 3 years and will meet international standards.
The first objects under construction are the five-star hotel and the Congress Hall. A business center, an industrial park, shopping malls, conference halls, a restaurant, cultural centers and high-rise buildings are being built on an area of 80 hectares.
Work has begun on construction of Business City centers in each district of the capital. Currently, three such centers are being built – Olmazor Business City, Yunusobod Business City and Mirzo Ulugbek Business City. Any citizen, local and foreign companies can become an investor of these projects.
