Embassy of Uzbekistan in the United States hosted a meeting with the U.S. Charge d’Affaires in Uzbekistan Alan D. Meltzer, who arrived in Washington to attend a meeting of heads of United States diplomatic missions abroad.

At the meeting, views were exchanged on the agenda, timing and the level of the upcoming political consultations in February regarding the diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan and the United States.

Special attention was paid to issues of assisting citizens of the two countries through the consular services of the diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan and the United States.
