State Committee for Tourism Development attracts German tour operators

On January 15, 2019, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Germany hosted a meeting of the Acting Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the President of the Alliance of Independent Travel Traders Jochen Szech, which includes more than 500 organizations, including 200 tour operators, 200 travel agents and 100 organizations, including the mass media, hotel business, air carriers.
In connection with establishment of a visa-free regime, it was proposed to send members of the alliance to the info tour in Uzbekistan. On the part of the alliance, it was proposed to update information about Uzbekistan and the country’s tourism opportunities in its catalogs, especially the information about visa-free regime. An agreement was reached on formation of a list of tour operators who will visit Uzbekistan in order to become familiar with the tourism potential.
As reported by the Press Service of the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, during the visit, B2B meetings with tour operators of Uzbekistan will be held for establishing bilateral cooperation.
