During the visit, the Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages and the University of Sergio-Pontouzes of France signed a Bilateral Cooperation Agreement between the Higher School of Education and Pedagogy of the Versailles Academy.

On January 12 this year, the official delegation of the University of Sergio-Pontuazes and the Higher School of Education and Pedagogy of the Versailles Academy visited the Institute.

During the visit, the Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages and the University of Sergio-Pontouzes of France signed a Bilateral Cooperation Agreement between the Higher School of Education and Pedagogy of the Versailles Academy.

Based on the signed agreement, Sergei-Pontuaz University and Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages are going toclosely cooperate in the areas of education, research, curriculum development, training and retraining.

On the ground of during two years agreed terms the followings are going to be carried out: Development of collaborative teaching and methodological recommendations, translation of literary literature, supervision of scientific research, preparation and training of French language teachers in elementary and secondary education , including 8
members of the teaching staff, and 4 librarians, 4 staffers, 16 students and masters, and 4 doctoral students in France

During the two-day visit, the French experts got acquainted with the institute's activities, the learning process, held a roundtable with students and professors, and hold discussions with them on the topics, such as "French Teaching Methods", "French Literature Teaching Methods" seminars and trainings were organized as well.
