Favorable conditions for further development of local IT industry will be created at the technopark, full support to high-tech start-up projects and promotion of software and high-tech products of Uzbekistan production in both local and foreign markets will be provided.

 

The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures for creating a Technological Park of Software Products and Information Technologies” of January 10, 2019 states that the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Society of Software Technology Parks under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of the Republic of India will be engaged in creation of a technopark.

 

Financial, marketing, legal and other consulting services, as well as business accelerator services will be provided on the basis of the technopark, which will allow novice startups to properly develop a business plan and strategy of promoting their product, explore a potential market and competitors. In addition, the implementation of start-up projects will be supported on the basis of venture financing.

 

Various master classes, trainings and advanced training courses in the sphere of ICT with involvement of leading companies and specialists, as well as scientific-practical conferences and workshops will be held at the technopark.

 

Residents of the technopark, whose projects will be recognized as promising, will be able to count on their financing from public funds, namely the ICT Development Fund. At the same time, the same benefits are extended to residents of the technopark that are granted to residents of Mirzo Ulugbek Innovation Center. They will be exempt from all types of taxes and mandatory contributions until 2028, including the payment of customs duties for imported software and equipment.
