Tashkent hosts conference on the essence and significance of the adopted legal documents

The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a briefing “Information of Justice” and a conference on explaining the essence and significance of the adopted legal documents, at the Development Strategy Center.

Information was provided on more than 10 legislative documents adopted this week.
 
In particular, a conversation was held within the framework of the execution of the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan “On measures for cardinal improvement of the system of training candidates for judges, retraining, advanced training of judges and court staff” of January 6, as well as his Decree “On the fundamental improvement of the system of raising legal awareness and legal culture in society” of January 9 of the current year. 
 
According to the decree of the Head of the state, raising the legal awareness and legal culture in society will be organized at the system level and according to “person – family – makhalla – educational institution – organization – society” principle.
 
The National Legal Internet Portal of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be created, including the National database of legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the system of access to additional legal information.
 
Creation of a legal information system Advice.uz, which includes a portal of free consultations to the population, as well as implementation of further expansion of legal education classes in general education schools and academic lyceums are envisaged. Training aids in the form of questions and answers on legal issues that are frequently encountered in everyday life will be prepared and distributed free of charge among the population.
 
The “Excellent in legal propaganda” badge will be established, awarded to employees of state bodies and organizations who have made a worthy contribution to improving the legal awareness and legal culture of the population.
 
At the event, detailed information was provided on the tasks outlined in the adopted decree, resolution and laws.
