On December 10, 2018, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Nematov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait Ahmad Khaled Abdullah al-Jeeran.

At the meeting, the sides discussed practical issues of further development of Uzbekistan – Kuwait relations in various formats.

The schedule for holding bilateral events in 2019, including meetings of the Intergovernmental Commission, as well as specific proposals for intensifying cooperation in trade-economic and banking-financial spheres were considered.
