On November 26-27, Tokyo hosted the 13th meeting of senior officials of “Central Asia + Japan” Dialogue.
The meeting was attended by delegations from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Japan.
Practical aspects of cooperation between Central Asian countries and Japan in the spheres of transport and logistics, agriculture and tourism, as well as in the field of trade and investment were discussed.
Special attention was paid to cooperation within the framework of regional security.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the sides exchanged views on issues of the agenda of the forthcoming 7th meeting of Foreign Ministers of “Central Asia + Japan” Dialogue.
