Current issues of eye microsurgery

Tashkent hosted an international conference on current issues of eye microsurgery at International Hotel Tashkent.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Health and the Republican Specialized Eye Microsurgery Center, was attended by qualified specialists, ophthalmologists from Uzbekistan, Russia, the United States, Italy, Kazakhstan and other countries.
Main attention at the event was paid to the methods of diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, the study of foreign experience in this sphere. It was noted that in further improving medical services provided to the population, including in the sphere of ophthalmology, introduction of world achievements and international experience into the practice is of great importance.
At the conference, reports were heard on current issues and problems of eye microsurgery, advanced training of personnel.
– For development of eye microsurgery, it is very important to exchange views and experiences, – says Russian ophthalmologist Yevgeniy Sidorenko. – Therefore, within the framework of the event, surgical operations and master classes on severe corneal diseases were held. Such theoretical and practical trainings are useful for all participants.
