Tashkent hosts Uzbekistan – Korea business meetings

On October 17, 2018, Tashkent hosted Uzbekistan – Korea Technology Transfer Business Meetings at City Palace Hotel with participation of business representatives of the two countries.
The Korean delegation was represented by leading innovative technology parks of the country.
Representatives of the delegation of the Republic of Korea emphasized the positive dynamics of economic growth of Uzbekistan, welcomed the efforts of Uzbekistan on liberalizing various sectors of the economy, creating necessary conditions for foreign investors.
It was also noted that this meeting will create an opportunity for the exchange of experience and opinions between the business circles of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea.
Following the meeting, B2B negotiations were held, where the parties discussed priority areas for cooperation development, primarily in trade, economic and investment fields.
Following the event, a number of agreements between Uzbekistan and Korean companies were signed in the field of innovation.
