At France – Uzbekistan Business Forum in Paris, held on the eve of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to France, NBU and NATIXIS banks signed two agreements worth 500 million euros.

The agreements provide for expansion of cooperation in financing large investment projects, as well as small and medium-sized business projects, envisaging the import of high-tech equipment and services from France and other EU countries, under insurance coverage of export credit agencies.

According to NBU, within the framework of the reached agreements, it is planned to implement projects in the field of export financing, to assist in entering the European capital markets, as well as to provide loans for implementation of strategic projects.

Establishment of cooperation with NATIXIS gives a new impetus to development of trade-economic relations between the two countries, will allow attracting long-term credit resources on favorable conditions and will create new investment opportunities for business in Uzbekistan.
