Finance Minister meets with IsDB President

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov met with the delegation of the IsDB Group and the Arab Coordination Group led by the President of the IsDB Group Dr. Bandar Hajjar.
At the meeting, members of the delegation were informed about further plans and tasks for economic reform aimed at improving the business environment and the investment climate, improving the taxation system, supporting private entrepreneurship, including through development of public-private partnership.
As reported by the Information Service of the Ministry of Finance, members of the delegation noted the importance of ongoing reforms, in particular on improving legislation, granting privileges and preferences to the private sector, which accordingly increases the investment attractiveness of Uzbekistan and stimulates the country’s economic growth.
