A group of officials from Uzbekistan, consisting of representatives of the Development Strategy Center, Office of the President, and Ministry of Health, is currently visiting Israel. The main objective of the visit is familiarization with the latest updates in the healthcare system, effective methods of management in the sector, latest medical equipment and technologies, as well as activities of major medical facilities and best practices of leading Israeli specialists.

Uzbekistan delegation has already visited Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Holon cities, where they held meetings and negotiations. In particular, Mr. Akmal Burkhanov, Director of the Development Strategy Center, met with representatives of the Holon Institute of Technology. Mr.Burkhanov briefed the gathered on the Action Strategy aimed at developing all the areas of human activity in Uzbekistan, as well as reforms being carried out within it, and the achievements the country reached in developing the social area. 

According to the Development Strategy Center, Mr.Burkhanov also made a presentation on the activity of the Development Strategy Center. Following the meeting with representatives of the Holon Institute of Technology, the sides signed the Memorandum of Cooperation. The two parties agreed to introduce the latest technologies and modern innovation in Uzbekistan, as well as conduct joint scientific research and implement joint projects.
