The Institute of Problems of Legislation and Parliamentary Studies under the Oliy Majlis signed a Memorandum of understanding with the representative office of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation (Germany) in Uzbekistan, at the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Memorandum provides for formation of a database on legislation related to the parliamentary activities of foreign countries, law enforcement practice and experience.
– Our goal is to develop proposals aimed at resolving the problems of legislation and parliamentarism, improving the effectiveness of legislation, the quality of adopted laws, improving law enforcement practice, further strengthening relations through scientific conferences, symposiums with participation of scientists, specialists from Uzbekistan and Germany, – said a leading researcher of the Institute of Problems of Legislation and Parliamentary Studies under the Oliy Majlis Sherzod Khudoyberganov.
The Memorandum outlines issues such as assistance in connecting to the most advanced electronic information and library resources of foreign countries, organizing business trips to the analytical centers of Germany, the Bundestag and its scientific centers, providing practical assistance in exchanging experience with research centers and establishing cooperation.
