Representatives of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development held a meeting with tour operators from China, which jointly with the travel company Diplomatic VIP and Travel Service intend to organize charter and direct flights from Chongqing, Lu’an, Xi’an cities in late August this year. 

A group of tour operators from China visited Uzbekistan from May 25 to June 11. Within the framework of the info-tour, the guests got acquainted with the tourism potential of the country. The group consisted of 18 tour operators and 4 photographers who paid attention to the possibility of organizing photo tours in the country. 

During their stay in Uzbekistan, the guests got acquainted with cultural and historical heritage of Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, studied the hotel infrastructure, got acquainted with culinary diversity. 

In conclusion, the head of the company Diplomatic VIP and Travel Service drew attention to wide possibilities of active tourism, particularly in the mountains of Tashkent and Zaamin, in Sukhandarya and Fergana regions. 

The guests expressed their desire to see Chinese inscriptions to make it easier for tourists from China to orient themselves, as well as noted that restaurants with Chinese cuisine can be found only in Tashkent, although they certainly can be popular in other cities.
