Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Umarov met with representatives of tourism industry. 

Issues of increasing the tourist flow to Uzbekistan, development of the tourism sphere were discussed, an action plan was outlined. One of the key decisions proposed by the chairman became the creation of a public council for effective communication and solution of tasks between the committee and representatives of the tourism industry. 

According to the State Committee for Tourism Development, participants of the meeting proposed to choose the chairman of the new organization independently by voting. 

It should be noted that tasks of the committee include formation of a concept for tourism development in a short term, and proposals voiced at the meeting will be taken into consideration.
