The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Turkey signed a Memorandum of Cooperation

During the visit of the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the Republic of Uzbekistan, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Turkey.
The objective of the Memorandum is to develop cooperation in legal sphere in accordance with generally recognized principles and norms of international law, as well as establish bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation and exchange experience.
As reported by the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan, in accordance with the Memorandum, cooperation will be carried out in such areas as protection of human rights and freedoms, rulemaking, provision of legal services, training and advanced training of legal personnel and in other areas of mutual interest.
The Memorandum also provides for holding conferences, workshops, lectures and trainings, exchanging information on the practice of drafting legislative and other normative legal acts, as well as legal literature and other publications, exchanging delegations of the Parties for a more complete familiarization with the organization and activities of justice bodies and institutions, organization and conduction of joint research, implementation of other activities agreed upon by the Parties.
In addition, the Memorandum will serve to strengthen bilateral relations, as well as create a legal basis for effective cooperation in the legal sphere between the ministries of justice of the two countries.
