Meeting with a delegation led by the Chairman of the Mongolian Friendship Societies Union, Hero of Mongolia, cosmonaut J.Gurragchaa, was held at the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Chairman of the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries R.Kurbanov provided information on activities of this committee, as well as on tourism potential of Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan annually hosts several international tourism fairs and festivals. It was noted that participation of Mongolian travel companies in these events would be beneficial for both countries. 

J.Gurragchaa expressed gratitude for sincere reception and noted that the main goal of this meeting is to develop bilateral cooperation. 

Within the framework of the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Mongolian Friendship Societies Union. 

It was emphasized that this memorandum will serve to further development of friendly relations between the people of Uzbekistan and Mongolia.
