Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia Dato Noraini binti Abd Hamid on 19 February, as she is completing her mission in our country.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the state and prospect directions of bilateral relations, a number of pressing international and regional issues were discussed during the conversation.

Particular attention was paid to the issues of cooperation in the field of tourism. The parties noted that the introduction of a visa – free regime for Malaysian citizens for a period of 30 days, as well as the presence of direct flights on the route "Tashkent-Kuala Lumpur – Tashkent" will further increase the tourist flow from Malaysia.

In connection with the end of the diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan, the Ambassador was expressed gratitude for her personal contribution to the strengthening and development of cooperation between the two countries.
