How many foreign students are studying in universities of Uzbekistan?

Hundreds of Uzbekistan youth are studying at prestigious educational institutions in Europe, Asia, and the USA. This is certainly pleasing. But what about the higher education institutions in Uzbekistan? Do foreign students study in our higher education institutions?
As reported on the official website of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics, 276 youth from foreign countries were enrolled in educational institutions of Uzbekistan in 2017/2018 academic year. This figure has increased to 126 students (84 percent) compared to the previous year. Most of them are from the CIS countries, including 120 from Turkmenistan, 56 from Russia and 42 from Kazakhstan.
