600 students in Uzbekistan had to leave their educational institutions for not paying their tuition fees last year

Some of students studying at higher education institutions in Uzbekistan have to leave or are expelled every year for different reasons.
The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics has published official figures on this issue.
8582 bachelor’s degree students left the higher education institution from November 1, 2016 to November 1, 2017. 2025 of them were unable to master, 410 because of various illness, 600 were not able to pay their tuition fees, 2980 were transferred to another higher education institution and 2567 were dismissed for other reasons.
