Production of roll wrapping paper, cones for yarn, and egg trays from recycled paper has been established in the first days of the Year of supporting active entrepreneurship, innovative ideas and technologies, in Surkhandarya region.

This new production, produced in “Surkhon qogozni qayta ishlash” (“Surkhan paper recycling”) LLC in Termez, is delivered to textile enterprises, poultry factories and other customers in the region. 

Implementation of the project worth more than 3 billion sums allows to produce 3 million tons of affordable and high-quality products per year. Almost 60 employees of the enterprise are recycling about 9 tons of waste paper per day. 

“Surkhon kaolin” LLC in Termez district is implementing a project on creating an enterprise for production of feldspar, shale and kaolin used as raw material for producing porcelain products with a capacity of 150 tons per year. 2 billion 900 million sums were allocated for organizing the enterprise, equipped with modern equipment. The enterprise will be put into operation next month. Employment of 60 people will be ensured.
