On December 20, a meeting of the Minister of Defense of our country Abdusalom Azizov with member of the State Council, the Minister of Defense of the People’s Republic of China, Chang Wanquan, was held in Tashkent. 

At the meeting, the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations in military, military-technical fields and in the sphere of military education were discussed, current aspects of strengthening security in the Central Asian region were considered. 

An agreement on cooperation in the sphere of military education between the Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Defense University of the People's Liberation Army of China was signed. 

The Minister of Defense of the People’s Republic of China laid flowers at the monument of Sorrowful Mother in Mustakillik square, in Tashkent. 

Members of the Chinese delegation will visit military units, institutions of our country, as well as historical sights of ancient Samarkand.
