Large-scale activities are being held in Khorezm region, as throughout the country. In particular, “Urgench” international airport was reconstructed on the basis of modern requirements. 

It is equipped with terminals designed to receive 300 and dispatch 300 passengers per hour, service rooms, retail outlets, the area adjacent to the airport is landscaped. 

In accordance with instructions of the Head of our state, necessary conditions are being created at the airport for a worthy meeting of official delegations and foreign guests. 

The President of our country got acquainted with activities carried out in this direction and plans for the future. Gave appropriate instructions on improving the airport’s activities, and further enhancing the amenities for passengers.
