On July 25, 2017, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel Carmela Shamir.

During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on the state and prospects for the further development of Uzbek-Israel cooperation in various fields and formats.

In connection with the completion of almost four-year diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan, the Minister noted the Ambassador’s fruitful activity and her constructive contribution to the development of relations between the two countries.

Carmela Shamir expressed gratitude to the leadership of the country and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for assisting in fulfilling the duties of the Ambassador of Israel in Uzbekistan.
