Delegation of Uzbekistan to participate in the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers

The delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan will participate in the 44th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Abidjan (Cote d'Ivoire) on July 10-11, 2017.
It is planned to sum up the results of Uzbekistan's chairmanship in OIC Foreign Ministers Council in 2016-2017, discuss a number of issues of the organization’s activity and adopt resolutions on political, legal, organizational, socio-economic and cultural-humanitarian issues.
It is expected to adopt special resolutions On the International Research Center of Imam al-Bukhariy in Samarkand and On the establishment of the Special Department of the Islamic Organization for Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO) at the Tashkent Islamic University in support of the initiatives of the head of our country Shavkat Mirziyoyev which ware sounded on October 18, 2016 in his speech at the 43rd Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Tashkent.
It is expected to adopt special resolutions On the Imam Bukhari International Research Center in Samarkand and On establishment of the special chair of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) in the structure of the Tashkent Islamic University in support of the initiatives of the head of our country Shavkat Mirziyoyev which ware sounded on October 18, 2016 in his speech at the 43rd Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Tashkent.
At the 44th session of the Council of Foreign Ministers, the Chairmanship will be officially transferred from the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire.
