The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics announces a competition for the creation of the best, most original and easily recognizable logo and slogan (motto) under which the Population Census of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2022 will be held. They will be used as the main identifiers in advertising and informational materials.

Who can participate in the competition?

Individuals, regardless of their citizenship and over 16 years old, representatives of professional advertising companies and agencies can take part in the competition.

To participate in the competition, you should provide the following information and documents:

• standard form statement
• brief description of projects
• electronic forms of projects (for logo in the format: logotip-TIFF, PSD or JPEG 1500 px. For slogan in the format: WORD, JPEG 1500 px).

Criteria for studying projects:

• originality and innovation of the idea
• compliance of the project with the goals of the census
• transparency and attractiveness of the project both for the people of Uzbekistan and for other countries
• project potential (integration with historical, cultural, natural, international standards, etc.)
• aesthetics of performance

The projects will be considered by the selection committee and the best of them will be used during the Population Census in 2022.

The winner will be awarded with valuable prizes.

Applications for participation in the competition should be sent by 30 March 2020.

Results will be announced in the first decade of April 2020.
