Ramadan Hayit (Eid al-Fitr)

On May 21, 2020, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a Resolution on Celebrating Ramadan Hayit (Eid al-Fitr).
As it is noted in the resolution, the Holy month of Ramadan, which is a month of benevolence, generosity and charity, is being held in Uzbekistan at home, with the family, in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and harmony due to the coronavirus pandemic. Uzbekistan people, having passed through various trials and difficulties, become even stronger and powerful, meet the Holy Ramadan Hayit with great joy and firm confidence in the future.
According to the decision of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, the first day of Ramadan Hayit in the country will be celebrated on May 24, 2020.
