The law about "The State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was adopted on November 18 in 1991 in the 8th session of the Supreme Council of Uzbekistan.

The main national holiday of the Republic of Uzbekistan is the Day Independence. This holiday is celebrated annually on the 1st September, is ceremonial and colorful. This national holiday personifies all dreams and expectations of all Uzbek people which lean on main principles friendliness, solidarity, charity, mutual respect.

The President signed the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the establishment of the Day of Friendship of Peoples" (№ LRU-672, 10.02.2021).

In the city of Kokand, Fergana region, on July 11-15 this year, the International Festival of Turkic-speaking youth will be held.

The symbol of our independence

In 2017, on August 25, the head of state adopted the Law “On the Establishment of the Youth Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan”. So every year on June 30, the national holiday of young people is celebrated.

On 31 January the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade hosted the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Republic of Uzbekistan on holding the 32nd Annual Meeting of the EBRD Board of Governors in Samarkand on 16-18 May this year.

Starting from 2019, Uzbekistan celebrates International Family Day on 15 May.

Every year on May 12, International Nurses Day is celebrated. In other words, today there is a reason to once again thank and congratulate the representatives of one of the most humane professions.
