On June 6, 2018, Ukraine – Uzbekistan Economic Forum on "Ukraine and Uzbekistan: prospects of development of economic relations” will be held in Kiev on the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Ukraine and the "Ukrainian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce" Association (ICC Ukraine). 

International children's day annually celebrated on 1st June, in many countries this day is celebrated as International day of children's rights.

From May 30 to June 2, 2018, Tashkent will host the XIII International specialized exhibition-sale of modern equipment and technologies for agro-industrial complex of the country “Uzbekistan Agrotech Expo – 2018” and the VII International specialized exhibition of agricultural machinery “Uzbekistan Agromash Expo – 2018” at the Central pavilion of the National Exhibition Company “Uzexpocentre”.

On May 28-30, 2018, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov will pay a working visit to Russia, within the framework of which he will attend and address the traditional International Forum “Primakov Readings”. 

On May 24-25, the Press and Information Agency of Uzbekistan will hold a Book Festival under the motto “Raising the reading culture – an important guarantee of achieving great goals” in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regional centers and in the city of Tashkent.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the President of the United States of America Donald Trump, will pay the first official visit to the U.S. on May 15-17, 2018. 

Delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan led by the Minister of Foreign Trade Jamshid Khodjayev will take part in the eighth meeting of the Intergovernmental Uzbek-Georgian Commission on Economic Cooperation, which will be held on May 14-15, 2018, in Tbilisi. 

On May 14, this year Tashkent will host an international conference on “Uzbekistan and China: prospects for joint implementation of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative”. 

In 1999 majestic Square of Memory has been opened in capital of Uzbekistan on 9th May and since then Day of memory and honor on May, 9th is celebrated.
