September 20-21, 2018 in Tashkent will be an international conference on the theme: "Central Asia in the system of international transport corridors: strategic perspectives and unrealized opportunities."

On September 17, 2018, the U.S. delegation led by Ambassador at Large for International Religious Freedom Samuel Dale Brownback will arrive in Uzbekistan.

On September 13-14, 2018, Samarkand will host the 5th meeting of India – Central Asia dialogue.

On September 14, 2018, the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov will attend the 79th CIS Economic Council session, in Moscow.

On September 12, 2018, a delegation of the U.S. Department of State led by the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Economic and Business Affairs Brian McFeeters will arrive in Uzbekistan.

On September 11-15, Margilan will host the fourth Atlas Festival.

Tashkent will host Uzbekistan Textile Conference and International Exhibition of Textile and Fashion Industry “UzTextile Expo”, which will be held at Uzexpocentre on September 4-7, 2018.

The main national holiday of the Republic of Uzbekistan is the Day Independence. This holiday is celebrated annually on the 1st September, is ceremonial and colorful. This national holiday personifies all dreams and expectations of all Uzbek people which lean on main principles friendliness, solidarity, charity, mutual respect.
