On October 31 – November 7, Uzbekistan will host Naqshbandi Tourism Festival 2019. The event is organized by the World Sufi Center (Malaysia) with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuala Lumpur, the State Committee for Tourism Development and Hilal Travel.

On October 30, 2019, the sixth round of Uzbekistan – Swiss political consultations will be held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Delegation of the Federal Department (Ministry) of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation led by Deputy State Secretary, Krystyna Marty Lang arrives in Tashkent to attend the events.

The Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan is  planning to conduct an International week of innovative ideas “InnoWeek.uz”, which will be held from October 29-31, 2019 at the National Exhibition Complex “Uzexpocenter”. This event promises to be a unique platform, where will gathered the representatives from local and foreign research and innovation centers, investment funds, technology agencies, technology parks as well as business incubators.

The international exhibition of national products “Made in Uzbekistan” will be held from October 23 to October 25, 2019 in Pavilions NoNo.3, 4, Atrium Hall No.2 and in outdoors of “Uzexpocenter” NEC” JSS. It will be organized by the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan and NEC “Uzexpocenter” NEC” JSS together with republican ministries, departments and organizations.

On October 19-20, 2019, the I International Investment Forum “Open Andijan” will be held in Andijan region.

On October 16, 2019, Uzbekistan delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov will attend the 12th Cooperation Forum “Republic of Korea – Central Asia”.

On October 7-8, Tashkent will host the 6th International Seminar of the OIC Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission on “Importance of promoting and protecting the rights of youth for building peaceful and democratic societies and sustainable development”.

Secretary General of Turkic Council Baghdad Amreyev will visit Uzbekistan on October 3-6, 2019.

The Information and Communication Technologies Week in Uzbekistan – ICTWEEK UZBEKISTAN – is a major and important information technology event that has been held annually in Uzbekistan since 2004. This event brings together Summit, Forum, Exhibition, press conferences, as well as many other events, awards, presentations and campaigns.

Delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov will visit the United States on September 21-29, 2019 to attend the 74th Session of the UN General Assembly, including the high-level event devoted to the presentation of the Global Call to Protect Religious Freedom, the UN Climate Action Summit, as well as Central Asia – United States (C5+1) meetings and the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA), will hold a number of bilateral meetings with heads of foreign delegations, in New York.
