On March 14, a meeting devoted to the analysis of effectiveness of the ongoing work on development of agricultural machinery and providing agrarian sector with modern machinery, current problems and tasks in the sphere was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Large-scale work is being carried out in the country on further improving activities of agricultural machinery enterprises aimed at modernizing, technical and technological re-equipment of production, organizing production of modern and competitive machinery and equipment for the agricultural sector in the domestic and foreign markets.

The President of our country Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with projects on construction and reconstruction of melioration and irrigation networks in Karakalpakstan. 

On December 9, a solemn event on the occasion of the Day of Agricultural Workers was held at the Palace of International Forums “Uzbekiston”.
