On June 17, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with government officials to discuss the acceleration of the implementation of investment projects in the oil and gas, chemical and power industries.

Delegation of the Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC) visited Uzbekistan, during which meetings were held with the leadership of ministries of Innovative Development, Investments and Foreign Trade, Higher and Secondary Special Education, the Development of Information Technologies and Communications as well as Tashkent State Technical University, higher education institutions of Samarkand and Bukhara regions.

Innovative equipment for prevention of ischemic strokes might be registered in Uzbekistan.

The Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan plans to hold Innovative Ideas Week “InnoWeek.uz” on October 29-31, 2019 at the National Exhibition Complex Uzexpocentre.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited on April 25 the Huawei Research and Innovation Center as part of his participation in the Belt and Road forum.
