Innovative equipment for prevention of ischemic strokes might be registered in Uzbekistan.

Two such devices were presented by Medtech Moscow company at the International Healthcare – TIHE 2019 exhibition held in Tashkent in April.

This was reported by the Director of the Group of Companies Medtech Moscow Arthur Gortung. He also noted that an agreement on familiarizing Uzbekistan’s healthcare with this innovative equipment was reached in March when a delegation of the National Chamber of Innovative Health led by Chairman Rovshan Izamov visited Moscow.

In addition, with the support of the National Chamber, Medtech Moscow, for the first time, attended the exhibition in Tashkent.

According to A.Gortung, the operation of the equipment is based on counteracting overheating of blood vessels. As practice has shown, this method reduces mortality in stroke by 30 percent.

In addition, it is effective in preventing hematomas in the post-traumatic process.

It is not by chance that the National Chamber of Innovative Health has become interested in this development, one of the main tasks of which is introduction of innovative methods.

In addition to these devices, Medtech Moscow presented at Tashkent exhibition a wide range of medical equipment, such as mechanical and electric medical beds, wheelchairs, hospital supplies, cardio chairs, massage tables, and lifts for transporting patients. All is produced by this Russian company leading in this segment.

The Techno-Group Gamma company also showed interest, with which an agreement was reached on locating the production of such products at its base in Tashkent region. To this end, Medtech Moscow is considering the possibility of creating a foreign enterprise in Uzbekistan with investments of up to five million dollars within three years.

According to the National Chamber of Innovation Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, creation of such production in Uzbekistan is very important, because 500 orders were received for only modern medical beds on the first day of the exhibition.
