President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for Ashgabat with a state visit at the invitation of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on 6 March. 

On 3 March President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received President of the Asian Development Bank Takehiko Nakao. 

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Turkmenistan on 6-7 March 2017 at the invitation of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. 

On 2 March President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations for political affairs Miroslav Jenca. 

On 1 March President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Vice President of General Electric company (US) Ronald James Pollett. 

On March 1, 2017, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations for Political Affairs Miroslav Jenča.

On March 1, 2017, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Africa with residence in Ankara Pule Isaac Malefane.

The Head of State reviewed the designs of a monument to the people’s poet, Hero of Uzbekistan Abdulla Oripov and reconstruction of the mausoleum of Abul-Muin-Nasafi. 

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited “Gulshan” mahalla (community) in Karshi and inspected the conditions for effective interaction of workers of the citizens’ assembly and a prevention inspector.
