According to the Press Service of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev began his trip to Surkhandarya region with a visit to silkworm farm in “Inter Silk Pro” joint venture, in Termez district.

On January 18, 2018, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the World Bank delegation led by the Chief Executive Officer Kristalina Georgieva.

On January 16, a “round table” with participation of businessmen of Uzbekistan and Turkey was held within the framework of the visit to our country of the delegation led by the CEO and the member of the board of Ziraat Bank (Turkey) Hüseyin Aydin.

Production of roll wrapping paper, cones for yarn, and egg trays from recycled paper has been established in the first days of the Year of supporting active entrepreneurship, innovative ideas and technologies, in Surkhandarya region.
